RETURN - A SUSTAINABLE PROMISE

Return system for unmixed fabrics from DELIUS

Sustainability is not a trend, but a commitment that we take seriously. Less CO₂ and less waste production: we ensure this with durable, high-quality and, where possible, single-origin fabrics.
With DELIUS ReTurn, we are taking further steps towards conserving resources and safeguarding the future.
We have put together our own team of experts and developed a system that has proven its worth:
a circular system for the responsible use of polyester in the textile industry.
This is how we understand the circular economy.

Single-variety plastics - a valuable resource

70% of the textiles in our collection are single-origin, i.e. made from 100% polyester and are therefore easily recyclable. These single-origin polyester fabrics are a particularly valuable resource and can be reused using various recycling methods.

This saves resources and the environment because less polyester has to be newly produced and less valuable material has to be disposed of

"We take back our single-origin textiles after their life cycle in order to return them to the cycle through mechanical recycling. In this way, we contribute to reducing waste and conserving resources."

Together with you towards a better future

If single-variety polyester fabrics no longer meet your visual and functional requirements after use, we would like to ensure that they are available for other applications for a long time to come.
In this way, we work with you to responsibly solve the disposal problem and return the used textiles to an economically viable cycle. The fabrics are reprocessed as felt materials for the automotive and construction industries, where they can be used for many decades to come.

ReTurn in practice

The Hotel Newton in Heilbronn

An essential part of the ReTurn concept is the take-back system for unmixed materials. The Newton Hotel's decision to participate in the ReTurn concept reflects its deeply rooted corporate values. Sustainability is a central aspect of the company's strategy. In the words of hotel owner Changiz Kharazi: "The ReTurn concept fits perfectly with our ambition to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. The close cooperation with Delius enables us not only to actively do something positive for the environment, but also to show our guests that we are taking responsibility." Through the ReTurn concept, the Newton Hotel is not only focusing on sustainable renovation, but is also sending a clear message to its guests about its commitment to environmental protection.

How do you recognize pure polyester?

All single-variety items are marked with this label.

The garment maker will also find information about the DELIUS ReTurn system here.

ReTurn sew-in labels with QR code
We will provide you or your garment maker with sufficient ReTurn sew-in labels when the goods are delivered. Please sew labels into each curtain. This will ensure that you are entitled to return the fabrics to us even after many years. And it shows your responsible and sustainable actions to the outside world.

From which countries can you return unmixed goods to us?

Sustainable action also requires short transport routes. That's why we are initially offering the ReTurn program for EU countries only.

This is what you need to bear in mind:

  • Collect the curtains made by us after use. Make sure that curtain rolls, hooks, lead tapes and other solid materials have been removed.
  • Send us an e-mail to return@delius.de or contact us directly to inform us about the planned return.
  • We will contact you for individual advice on a smooth process.
  • The freight costs are at your expense, a small investment in the circular economy. In the event of a new order, Delius will cover the costs of returning the old material.

The following fabrics from the Delius collection can be recycled:

  • 100% polyester FR
  • 100% Trevira CS
  • all EcoLine items

The following items from the DELIUS collection cannot currently be recycled as they are not unmixed:

  • Blackout
  • Delitherm (except Gamma)
  • DELIGARD upholstery fabrics
