The special textile structure and material combination of the Lascara® sheet ensure fewer points of contact between the sheet and skin for bedridden patients. The special surface structure of the sheet prevents shear forces and significantly reduces pressure points. The material also has a cooling effect and prevents perspiration. Thanks to the special fabric, movements are made easier, which significantly improves lying comfort. The lower frictional resistance also simplifies patient handling. The Lascara® fitted sheet is used as a preventative measure for category I pressure ulcers. In conjunction with pressure relief measures, it can also be used for category II pressure ulcers.
