An impressive curtain made from Watson wool fabric has been installed in the auditorium of the Swedish municipality of Nacka. Designed by interior designer Magdalena Keller, the project combines acoustic and aesthetic requirements to create a striking spatial design. Covering an area of around 200 square metres, the curtain is one of the largest of its kind in the world.
The Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz in Cologne offers a diverse cultural programme all year round, featuring events spanning theatre, music, literature, political cabaret, comedy and cabaret. All this takes place in Cologne’s oldest surviving theatre, which was also home to the renowned Volkstheater Millowitsch from 1936 until March 2018.
