Product description
Dimout curtains are blackout fabrics that are able to reduce the usual 40% light transmission to just 1%. The degree of darkening is 99%, depending on the color. Dimout fabrics are a double satin with a black weft. These two components create a very dense, softly flowing fabric that allows hardly any light to shine through and has excellent acoustic properties.
The Dimout is the classic among blackout fabrics. The soft drape, the good acoustic properties, the extensive certificates confirming its flame retardancy and the Oeko Tex certificate make this blackout fabric a functional marvel. The universal usability is supported by an extensive color palette with currently 60 colors.
We also offer our classic as narrow fabric in 150 cm width. If you are looking for a blackout fabric for the Health & Care sector, we recommend our Dimout with an antibacterial and air-purifying finish. Special colors are available on request.
The Dimout should be used wherever people are looking for peace and quiet during the day and at night. This could be the residents' room in a nursing home or hospital, all types of hotel rooms, in schools and daycare centers or even as a cubicle curtain in a clothing store.
